Ambuja Cement’s net profit jumps 65% in Q4FY21
New Delhi: Ambuja Cement’s consolidated net profit jumped 65 percent in fourth quarter of the last fiscal at Rs 1,228 crore as compared to Rs 742 crore it registered in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company's consolidated net income jumped 22 percent at Rs 7,811 crore as compared to Rs 6,391 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company saw 83 percent jump in operating EBIT. It also witnessed 690 basis points expansion in its EBIT margin, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company is setting up a facility in Marwar, Rajasthan that will increase the clinker capacity by 3 MTPA.
