Ansal Housing suffers net loss of Rs 33 cr in Q4FY20; full year loss jumps many fold

New Delhi: Ansal Housing Ltd suffered a consolidated net loss of Rs 33 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to a net profit of Rs 1.1 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. 

The consolidated revenue from operations fell 38 percent to Rs 29 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 38 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. 

The total expenses of the company jumped to Rs 98 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 50 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, company said in a regulatory filing.

Company’s consolidated net loss jumped many fold to Rs 57 crore for the whole of fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 3.94 crore in the previous fiscal. It consolidated revenues from operations fell 16 percent to Rs 163 crore for the whole of fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 194 crore in the previous fiscal. The total expenses of the company jumped to Rs 295 crore for the whole of fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 239 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
