Apollo Pipes Ltd’s net profit tanks 80% to Rs 2 cr for Q1FY21

New Delhi: Apollo Pipes Ltd’s net profit tanked 80 percent to Rs 2 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to a net profit of Rs 9.83 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The revenue from operations of the company fell 21 percent to Rs 92 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 117 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The total expenses of the company dropped Rs 91 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 105 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing. 

For the whole of the 2019-20 fiscal, the realty firm’s consolidated net loss almost doubled to Rs 261 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 140 crore in the previous fiscal.  The total income, however, jumped to Rs 1,145 crore in the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 824 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
