Ashiana Housing Ltd’s net loss goes up marginally to Rs 8.12 cr for Q4FY20, incurs net loss for entire FY20

New Delhi: Ashiana Housing Ltd’s consolidated net loss went up marginally to Rs 8.12 crore for the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against a net loss of Rs 7.92 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated revenue from operations, however, jumped about 41 percent to Rs 89 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 63 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. 

For the entire financial year 2019-20, the consolidated net loss of the company stood at Rs 30.24 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 13.78 crore in the previous financial year.

For the entire financial year 2019-20, the consolidated revenue from operations of the company fell about 10 percent to Rs 298 crore as compared to Rs 329 crore in the previous financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing.

 The total consolidated expenses of the company jumped to Rs 94 crore for the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against Rs 76 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. For the entire financial year 2019-20, the consolidated total expenses of the company increased marginally to Rs 339 crore as compared to Rs 326 crore in the previous fiscal.

The company recommended a dividend of Re 0.30, that is, 15 percent on Rs 2 per equity share.

The company saw lower bookings of 4.14 lakh square feet in the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against 9.78 lakh square feet in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The total area constructed by the company was 3.27 lakh square feet in the latest quarter as compared to 2.39 lakh square feet in the year-ago period. The latest quarter saw 

launch of Ashiana Daksh Phase-1 & 2, Vrinda Gardens Phase-4 in Jaipur, Ashiana Aditya Phase-1 in Jamshedpur and Ashiana Nirmay Phase-3 in Bhiwadi.

For the whole financial year 2019-20, the company saw higher booking of 19.82 lakh square feet as compared to 10.79 lakh square feet in the previous fiscal. The total area constructed by the company in 2019-20 fiscal was higher at 9.85 lakh square feet as compared to 7.68 lakh square feet in the previous fiscal.
