Asian Granito India clocks net profit of Rs 8.28 cr in Q1FY22
New Delhi: Asian Granito India clocked a consolidated net profit of Rs 8.28 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to a loss of Rs 7.51 crore in corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
The total consolidated income, however, jumped more than two-fold to Rs 273 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as against Rs 130 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Kamlesh Patel, CMD of Asian Granito India, said "With the recent brownfield expansion at Crystal Ceramics, the firm hopes to further cut manufacturing costs by utilising low-cost natural gas. This will aid the company in increasing revenues, cost reduction, and profitability."
In the latest, the company completed its expansion at Crystal plant, taking the overall capacity to 36,000 square meters per day. The export revenues of the company in the latest quarter stood at Rs 53 crore.
