Berger Paints India Ltd’s net profit falls 6% to Rs 103 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Berger Paints India Ltd’s consolidated net profit fell about 6 percent to Rs 103 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared net profit of Rs 110 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated revenue from operations fell about 8 percent to Rs 1,354 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 1,472 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. .

The company’s consolidated net profit jumped around 33 percent to Rs 656 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 493 crore in the previous fiscal. 

The company’s revenue from operations jumped around 5 percent to Rs 6,365 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 6,061 crore for the previous fiscal.

The consolidated total expenses of the company fell to Rs 1,209 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 1,306 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The total expenses of the company jumped to Rs 5,542 crore in the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 5,355 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
