Cochin Shipyard's net profit jumps 44% to Rs 137 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Cochin Shipyard Ltd’s consolidated net profit jumped 44 percent to Rs 137 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 95 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased marginally to Rs 816 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as against Rs 788 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated company’s net profit jumped 32 percent to Rs 632 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 477 crore in the previous fiscal. 

The company’s consolidated revenue from operations jumped 15 percent to Rs 3,422 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as against Rs 2,965 crore in the previous fiscal.

The consolidated total expenses of the company dropped to Rs 677 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 692 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The consolidated total expenses of the company increased to Rs 2,809 crore in the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 2,444 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
