Commercial realty in Hyd jumps 172% in transaction volumes in 5 yrs

New Delhi: The commercial real estate segment in Hyderabad has witnessed a whopping 172 percent jump in transaction volumes in five-year period between 2014 and 2019.

The city saw rental increase of two percent in the third quarter of the current calendar year (July-Sep) as compared to the same period of 2019, according to a report by Knight Frank. 

The prices of residential properties have jumped 5.3 percent compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) in the last 10 years. Interestingly, even in the ongoing corona pandemic, the rents continue to hold steady in Hyderabad while most other cities are witnessing a sever meltdown.

The city of Hyderabad saw significant growth in commercial and corporate activities in the last 5 years. As a result, it rose from a rank of 6th in 2014 to 2nd in 2019 in respect of annual office space demand.
