Delhi Police arrests directors of another realty firm in secret operation
New Delhi: The spate of arrests continues in property related matters in Delhi NCR. Delhi Police (The Economic Offences Wing) has arrested three directors of Saha Infratech and the acused have been sent to police remand.
The three directors are Aunirban Saha, Aniel Saha and Ashok Kumar Sirohi. They were residing in Noida and the Delhi olicec arrested them by carrying out a covert action plan. The three directors are accused are cheating Rs 20 crore from about 20 property buyers.
An FIR was filed against the accused in June 2019 on a complainant filed by Mamta Behal who was cheated to the tune of Rs 5.44 crore. Another FIR was filed in September this year by another victim.
The three used to lure property buyers and investors with promise of huge profits. They also signed buy-back agreements with the buyers to lure them further. The three never even started the construction of the projects. They alledgedly did not not even comply with terms and conditions of the agreement.
While Aniel and Aunirban are father-son and are directors of another realty firm Palm Developers, Sirohi was financial adviser in Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority.
