ED attaches 29 land parcels totaling 13,600 sq mtr of Unitech Grp
New Delhi: Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached 29 land parcels totaling 13,600 square meter belonging to embattled Unitech Group. The book value of these land parcels is Rs 30.29 crore, the investigating agency said in a statement.
These land parcels are in sectors 96, 97 and 98 in Noida. The land was illegally allotted to a company called Carnoustie Management (India) Pvt Ltd (CMPL) floated by Chandras of the Unitech Group.
ED also said that the source of monetary funds for the purchase of these land parcels was homebuyer's money collected and earlier transferred to CMPL by the Chandras.
