ED raids this builder in FEMA violation case
New Delhi: The ED has raided Pune-based ABIL Group’s office which is owned by Avinash Bhosale. The ED had recently questioned Bhosale in relation to a case of alleged violation of the provisions Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999.
The ED has also sent a notice to Avinash Bhosale’s daughter Swapnali Kadam. Swapnali Kadam is the wife of Maharaashtra state minister Vishwajeet Kadam. Avinash Bhosale’s wife Gauri has also been interrogated by the ED recently.
The raid started around 8.30 am on Wednesday in the ‘ABIL House’ and went on till late evening.
In 2007, Bhosale detained at Mumbai Airport and a case was registered against him for allegedly trying to avoid customs duties on some goods.
In the recent, questioning, it has been found that Bhosale had opened bank account in foreign country without following any procedure.
