Elara Technologies rebrands itself as REA India

New Delhi: Elara Technologies, owner and operator of property portals Housing.com, PropTiger.com and Makaan.com, has now officially become ‘REA India’. The new brand has been named after the parent company REA Group Ltd which is headquartered in Melbourne in Australia.

REA Grp first invested in Elara Technologies Pte Ltd in 2017 and become the majority shareholder of 61 percent shareholder in 2020. A subsidiary of News Corp become the remaining substantial shareholder.

REA Group CEO, Owen Wilson said in a statement: “A key pillar of REA’s long term growth strategy is expanding into large growth markets.
