FAR, ground coverage limit hiked for warehousing by DDA
New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority has given approval for increasing the floor area ratio for warehousing 100 percent and ground coverage from to 40 percent with a view to give a fillip to the logistics and warehousing industry.
DDA had to change the Master Plan of Delhi to give approval. The floor area ratio for warehousing so far was 80 percent and ground coverage was 30 percent.
A lot of ecommerce and other players acquired space in Gurgugram for their warehousing needs but now DDA aims to make the national capital an attractive destination for logistics and warehousing industry, hence these changes have been made I the Master Plan of Delhi, A DDA official said.
