GMR Infrastructure Ltd's consolidated net loss jumps many-fold to Rs 834 cr for Q1FY21

New Delhi: GMR Infrastructure Ltd's consolidated net loss jumped many times to Rs 834 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 335 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated net income declined 43 percent to Rs 1,134 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 1,992 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated profit before tax (negative) jumped many fold to 985 crore (loss) in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 279 crore (loss) in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a statement.

The EBITDA loss in the Delhi airport project of the company stood at Rs 69 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to a profit of Rs 204 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The EBITDA loss in the Hyderabad airport project of the company stood at Rs 53 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to a profit of Rs 258 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The EBITDA in the Hyderabad-Vijayvada highway project fell to Rs 19 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 43 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The EBITDA in the AmbalaChandigarh highway project fell to Rs 6 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 15 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The EBITDA in the Chennai ORR project fell to Rs 18 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 19 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The EBITDA in the Pochanpalli highway project remained flat at Rs 9 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
