HCC clocks net profit of Rs 180 cr for Q1FY22
Noida: Infra player Hindustan Construction Company clocked a consolidated net profit of Rs 180 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to a net loss of Rs 409 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The total income of the company jumped to Rs 2,503 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 1,690 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The total expenses of the infra firm jumped to Rs 2,579 crore as compared to Rs 1,989 crore.
"HCC, in a joint venture, has been awarded a contract worth Rs 1,147 crore by Chennai Metro Rail Limited. The total orderbook stood at Rs 17,575 crore by June 30, 2021," the company said in a statement.
"Funds related to the recently concluded NH34 BOT conciliations were received by the respective SPVs from NHAI during this quarter. The onward release of funds to HCC Group companies is expected shortly," the statement added.
