HSIL clocks multi-fold jump in net profit at Rs 33 cr for Q4Fy21
New Delhi: Sanitary ware maker HSIL clocked multi-fold jump in net profit at Rs 33 crore for the fourth quarter of last fiscal as compared to Rs 3.38 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Company’s revenues from operations in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal jumped 37 percent at Rs 633 crore as against Rs 461 crore in the year-ago period. The total expenses increased 26 percent at Rs 582 crore as compared to Rs 461 crore in the fourth quarter of 2019-20, the company said in a regulatory filing.
For the whole of 2020-2021, the company’s net profit jumped to Rs 88 crore as compared to Rs 48 crore in the previous fiscal.
Company’s revenue from operations for the entire fiscal went down marginally at Rs 1,853 crore from Rs 1,859 crore in the previous year.
HSIL’s board recommended the payment of a dividend of 200 percent, that is, Rs 4 per equity share of Rs 2 each for the year ended March 31, 2021.
