Immovable assets of Punjab-based realty firm attached by ED on complaints of fraud by the firm

New Delhi: Immovable assets worth Rs 24 crore have been attached by The Enforcement Directorate (ED) that belonged a Punjab based realty firm- Nature Heights Infra Ltd. The company has cheated hundreds of investors in various cities of Punjab. The sister firm of Nature Heights Infra Ltd- MG Gold Realtors Private Ltd has also been involved in various frauds, according to media reports.

The attached properties include a Rs 10-crore plot belonging to MG Gold. There are other fats and plots in Mohali, Rajasthan and various towns Punjab.

Nature Heights Infra Ltd, was owned and managed by Neeraj Thatai (alias Neeraj Arora). Neerak’s wife Doll Thatai and Amit Kukkar were other directors of he company and were involved in fraud. 

The ED began the investigation in 2017 after receiving complaint from around 500 people who had invested money in the company and has even filed cases in consumer courts. 

The ED found that Neeraj was laundering investors’ money through various sell companies for his own benefits. 

Last year, ED had attached immovable assets worth of Rs 22.24 crore belonging to Nature Heights. So far, fraus worth Rs 50 crore has come to light in the investigations of the ED. 

Neeraj and Amit Kukkar are accused in 31 FIRs tat have been filed by the investors in different cities of Punjab. Both have been declared proclaimed offenders.
