Indian Hotels Company Ltd’s (Taj Hotel) net profit falls 35% to Rs 76.29 cr for Q4FY20
New Delhi: The Indian Hotels Company Ltd’s consolidated net profit fell about 35 percent to Rs 76.29 crore for the fourth ended 31 March 2020 as against Rs 122.56 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The consolidated revenue from operation of the company fell about 15 percent to Rs 1,062 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2020 as compared to Rs 1,244.32 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
For the entire fiscal 2019-20, the consolidated net profit jumped about 22 percent to Rs 363.74 crore as against a net profit of Rs 296.12 crore in the previous fiscal.
For the entire fiscal 2019-20, the consolidated revenues from operations of the company fell marginally to Rs 4,463 crore as against Rs 4,512 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The EBITDA stood at Rs 1,100 crore with a margin of the company stood at 24 percent for fiscal 2019-20.
The company reached 200 hotel mark with about 25,000 rooms in fiscal 2019-20. It signed deals for 29 hotels having around 3,700 rooms in fiscal 2019-20. The ‘Ginger’ brand reached milestone of 50 hotels, the company said in a statement.
