IRB Infrastructure Developers’ net profit tanks 37% to Rs 97 cr in Q4FY21

New Delhi: Infra player IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd’s consolidated net profit tanked 37 percent to Rs 97 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 154 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. 

The consolidated revenues from operations of the company increased marginally to Rs 1,605 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 1,584 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

For the whole of last fiscal, the net profit of the company tanked 84 percent to Rs 117 crore as compared to Rs 720 crore in the previous fiscal.

 “FY21 performance was marred by National Lockdown in first quarter; however, restart of economic activities in the subsequent quarters brought strong recovery to surpass pre-COVID levels. We now look forward to a better and stronger FY22,” said Virendra D. Mhaiskar, Chairman & Managing Director, IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd in a statement.
