Jindal Saw suffers net loss of Rs 26 cr for Q1FY21

New Delhi: Jindal Saw Ltd suffered a net loss of Rs 26 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to a net profit of Rs 109 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated revenue from operations of the company almost halved to Rs 1,640 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 3,056 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated total expenses of the company dropped Rs 1,699 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 2,906 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
