JSPL's net profit jumps multi-fold at Rs 1,901 cr in Q4FY21

New Delhi: Jindal Steel and Power Ltd’s consolidated net profit jumped multi-fold at Rs 1,901 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 82 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. 

JSPL’s total income jumped to Rs 11,904 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 6,819 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.  

Its total expenses increased to Rs 8,083 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 6,604 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. 

For the entire fiscal of 2021, the company’s consolidated net profit was at Rs 5527 crore as against a net loss of Rs 573 crore in the previous fiscal.
