Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Ltd suffers net loss of Rs 5.62 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries Ltd suffered a net loss of Rs 5.62 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared net profit of Rs 6.99 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company’s revenues from operations fell 26 percent to Rs 24 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 34 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company suffered a net loss of Rs 72 lakh for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to a net profit of Rs 5.15 crore in the previous fiscal.

The company’s revenues from operations jumped 41 percent to Rs 156 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 110 crore in the previous fiscal.

The total expenses of the company fell to Rs 28 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 33 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The total expenses of the company jumped to Rs 161 crore in the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 119 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

 The company has recommended a dividend at Rs 3 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each for the fiscal 2019-20.
