Kamdhenu Group's net profit tanks 60% at Rs 2.32 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Kamdhenu Group saw its  standalone net profit tank by 60 percent at Rs 2.32 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 5.88 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The standalone total Income of the company in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal fell 8 percent to Rs 246 crore as compared to Rs 269 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. 

The company closed its factories due to the lockdown. But now the production is restarting and the capacity utilisation is around 60 percent. 

The standalone total expenses of the company fell marginally to Rs 242 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 249 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company achieved Profit Before Tax of Rs 6.7 crore for the steel business for the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal. The royalty income of the company stood at Rs 22.2 crore for the for the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal. 

The company achieved Profit Before Tax of Rs 37.3 crore for the steel business for the entire 2019-20 fiscal. The royalty income of the company stood at Rs 94.2 crore for the for the whole 2019-20 fiscal, the company said in a statement.

The company has recommended a dividend of Re 0.50 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each the last fiscal. 

The company is based in Gurugram and manufactures branded TMT bars and paints.
