Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd’s net loss narrowed to Rs 11 lakh for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd’s net loss narrowed to Rs 11 lakh for the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against a net loss of Rs 19 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The revenue from operations fell 8 percent to Rs 24 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 26 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.   

For the entire financial year 2019-20, the company’s consolidated net profit fell about 12 percent to Rs 2.47 crore as against a net profit of Rs 2.87 crore in the previous financial year.

For the entire financial year 2019-20, the revenue from operations of the company jumped about 18 percent to Rs 114 crore as compared to Rs 97 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The total expenses of the company fell marginally to Rs 28 crore in the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against Rs 29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. For the whole financial year 2019-20, the total expenses of the company jumped around 14 percent to Rs 119 crore as compared to Rs 104 crore in the previous fiscal.
