L&T bags orders worth Rs 2,500-5,000 cr for various entities including NHAI

New Delhi: Infra player Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged orders worth Rs 2,500-5,000 crore for various entities including NHAI.

The Transportation Infrastructure arm of L&T has bagged a contract for the Delhi Vadodara Expressway from NHAI. L&T will be responsible for constructing packages 11 and 22 of the Expressway. The works includes constructing 8-lane expressway of 36 kilometers length. It will have perpetual pavement and slip roads.

The Transportation Infrastructure arm has also bagged an EPC contract from West Bengal Government for re-construction of 4-lane Tallah ROB. This will be called Hemanta Setu and will be next to Tallah railway station on Barrackpore Trunk Road in Kolkata. 

The Water and Effluent Treatment Business arm of L&T has bagged EPC contracts from government of Uttar Pradesh for water supply schemes. The implementation of the supply schemes will entail villages of Shivhar in Mahoba and Parasi group of villages in Sonbadhra districts. The works includes design and construction of 3 intake structures, 3 water treatment plants, 1,171 kilometers of transmission and distribution pipelines. There will also be 20 reservoirs, 37 over-head service reservoirs and as many as 20 pump houses.  The projects is aimed at provided safe drinking water to 3.78 lakh people in villages, the compnay said in a statement.
