NBCC India Ltd’s net profit nosedives 42% to Rs 83 cr in Q4FY20, full year net profit tanks 76%

New Delhi: State-run NBCC India Ltd’s consolidated net profit nosedived 42 percent to Rs 83 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to a net profit of Rs 142 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. 

The consolidated total income dropped 17 percent to Rs 2,568 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 3,087 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company’s consolidated net profit tanked 76 percent to Rs 99 crore for the whole fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 391 crore in the previous fiscal. 

The consolidated total income fell 18 percent to Rs 8,027 crore in the whole fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 9,806 crore in the previous fiscal. 

The consolidated total expenses of the company fell to Rs 2,551 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 2,980 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The consolidated total expenses of the company dropped to Rs 7,996 crore in the last fiscal as compared to Rs 9,581 crore in the previous fiscal.

In the fourth quarter of the last fiscal, the company earned Rs 2,324 crore from project management consultancy as compared to Rs 2,818 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. 

In the fourth quarter of the last fiscal, the company earned Rs 123 crore from real estate business as compared to Rs 155 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. 

In the fourth quarter of the last fiscal, the company earned Rs 121 crore from EPC business as compared to Rs 113 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. 

For the whole of last fiscal, the company earned Rs 7,470 crore from project management consultancy as compared to Rs 8,917 crore in the previous fiscal.

For the whole of last fiscal, the company earned Rs 145 crore from real estate business as compared to Rs 350 crore in the previous fiscal.

For the whole of last fiscal, the company earned Rs 411 crore from EPC business as compared to Rs 538 crore in the previous fiscal.
