NBCC secures orders of Rs 432 cr in June from BHEL, IIT-BHU
New Delhi: State-run construction firm NBCC bagged total orders of Rs 431.63 crore in June 2020. It won a contract from another state-run company BHEL for construction of Natural Draught Cooling Towers for Package 1 and 2 of 5X 800 MW. The project is to be executed on EPC mode. The contract is for Rs 284.63 crore.
NBCC also secured a contract from IIT-BHU for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Services for the construction hostel facilities for students and apartments for college faculty. The contract value is Rs 147 crore. But the amount is excluding PMC fees, the company said in a regulatory filing.
NBCC’s net profit fell 42 percent to Rs 83 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Its net profit for the whole fiscal 2019-20 tanked 76 percent to Rs 99 crore as compared to the previous fiscal.
