New launches of homes jumps 74% to 21,839 units in April-June quarter
New Delhi: The new launches of homes jumped 74 percent to 21,839 units in the April-June quarter of the current year as compared to the same period of the previous year in the top eight cities. However, as compared to the immediately preceding quarter, the new launches tanked 59 percent, according to a report by property portal Proptiger.com
The sales of residential properties declined 76 percent in the April-June period of this year in the top 8 cities from the immediately previous quarter.
The home sales stood at 15,968 units in April-June 2021 as against 66,176 units in previous quarter.
"Home sales during the three-month period ending June 30 declined 16 per cent YoY, while registering a 76 per cent QoQ (Quarter-on-Quarter) fall," PropTiger.com said in a webinar recently.
The home sales in Ahmedabad declined to 1,282 units in April-June period of 2021 from 4,687 houses in previous quarter.
