The NGT committee has found out that the confluence point of Siswan and Choe was moved 300 feet away, towards the northern side. The confluence point is now near Tower-Isbella of ‘The Lake’ project.

The committee pointed out that there is encroachment of land near Tower Isabella and this encroachment may cause more inundation in the space towards  right side when there is higher flow of water in Siswan and Choe.

However, the realty firm’s Director Dalip Moudgil has said that the project has been constructed with approval from concerned local and state authorities and also in compliance with the Master Plan of New Chandigarh.
