Pandemic effect notwithstanding, this co-working player raises Rs 2.8 cr in seed funding
New Delhi: Despte the pandemic and doubts about the viability of the co-working industry, flexible office space provider Inspire Co-Spaces has raised Rs 2.8 crore (USD $4 million) as seed funding. The funding has been received from Ashish Chandna, an angel investor.
The money will be used to finance the existing and future expansion plans.
The company is looking to have about 1,000 seats under its belt by the end of the current year, the company said in a statement.
“Ashish has many Investments in several startups and has a demonstrable capability of converting a startup into a large successful business. We are really happy and elated to have him as angel investor and also on the board of directors,” said Amit Sathe, CEO, Inspire Co-Spaces
Inspire Co-Spaces currentry has operations in Mumbai’s Goregaon and Andheri. It has flexible offices in Navi Mumbai and Thane.
The company is now set to step up its business with the funds availed from this exercise.
