Pidilite Industries Ltd’s net profit falls 33% to Rs 156 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Pidilite Industries Ltd’s consolidated net profit fell 33 percent to Rs 156 crore for the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against a net profit of Rs 236 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated revenue from operations fell 5 percent to Rs 1,544 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 1,639 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. 

For the entire financial year 2019-20, the consolidated net profit of the company jumped 20 percent to Rs 1,122 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 928 crore in the previous financial year.

For the entire financial year 2019-20, the consolidated revenue from operations of the company increased marginally to Rs 7,294 crore as compared to Rs 7,077 crore in the previous financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The consolidated total expenses of the company fell to Rs 1,303 crore in the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as against Rs 1,406 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. For the whole financial year 2019-20, the total expenses of the company increased to Rs 5,921 crore as compared to Rs 5,868 crore in the previous fiscal.
