PNB Housing Finance’s net profit falls 10% to Rs 257 cr in Q1FY21

New Delhi: PNB Housing Finance’s consolidated net profit fell 10 percent to Rs 257 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 284.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. 

Its net interest income fell 22 percent to Rs 488 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal asc compared to Rs 625 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The total income of the company declined to Rs 1,872 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 2,232.58 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

The total borrowings of the company stood at Rs 67,283 crore as on 30 June 2020 as against Rs 72,261 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
