RLDA to lease out 16 land parcels, aims to have Rs 1900 cr revenues
New Delhi: Rail Land Development Authority aims to have revenues of 1904 crore by leasing out 16 land pieces that include Boulevard Road Colony in Delhi and Lucknow Railway Station surroundings.
The railway agency has invited bids for redevelopment and lasing out 16 land parcels in the country. These 16 pieces of land have been selected because of the location advantage that makes them quite suitable for commercial as well as residential development.
Some of the other land pieces identified are Ramgarh Tal Colony (Gorakhpur), several plots in Gomti Nagar (Lucknow), area around Moula Ali Flyover (Secunderabad) and area around Salt Golah in Howrah.
"These land parcels are located in major cities. RLDA will lease-out these land pieces to developers who will develop these sites," said RLDA Vice Chairman Ved Parkash Dudeja said in a meeting recently.
RLDA is presently taking care of 84 commercial sites which are Greenfield projects. It is handling another 84 railway colony redevelopment sites.
