Shalimar Paints Ltd’s net loss halves to Rs 22 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Shalimar Paints Ltd’s consolidated net loss halved to Rs 22 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared of Rs 43.36 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated revenues from operations fell 16 percent to Rs 83 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 99 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. 

The company’s consolidated net loss narrowed sharply to just Rs 38.18 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 83 crore in the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated revenues from operations jumped 20 percent to Rs 343 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 287 crore in the previous fiscal.

The consolidated total expenses of the company fell to Rs 125 crore in fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 133 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The consolidated total expenses of the company increased to Rs 408 crore in the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 383 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
