Sunteck Realty, Ashoka Buildcon removed from BSE's 'A' group

New Delhi: Sunteck Realty and Ashoka Buildcon are some of the companies that have been removed from BSE's 'A' group. Other companies that have been removed are Emami Ltd, TV18 Broadcast and Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd. 

In a separate move, Sunteck Realty has issued commercial paper worth Rs 15 crore. These have been issued on 3 July and are proposed to be listed on BSE. These papers are being offered at 7.15 percent interest and the date of maturity is 29 October 2020. No special rights have been attached to the papers, the company said in a statement.

Sunteck Realty’s consolidated net profit fell 31 percent to Rs 33.64 crore in the third quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 49 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. The total income of the company stood at Rs 199.34 crore in the third quarter of the last fiscal as compared to Rs 201.66 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. The compnay is yet to declare fourth quarter results.  

Ashoka Buildcon’s revenues fell 4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019-0 fiscal as compared to the same period of 2018-19. The EBITDA margin jumped 440 basis points 18.2 percent in the fourth quarter of 2019-0 fiscal as compared to the same period of 2018-19. The company suffered a net loss f Rs 11.99 crore in the fiscal 2019-20  as compared to a net profit of Rs 160 crore in the previous fiscal. The revenue from operations of the company increased to Rs 5,070 crore in the last fiscal as compared to Rs 4930 crore in the previous fiscal.
