Surya Roshni Ltd’s net profit falls 34% to Rs 29 cr for Q4FY20

New Delhi: Surya Roshni Ltd’s consolidated net profit fell 34 percent to Rs 29 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated revenues from operations fell 21 percent to Rs 1,338 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 1,704 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated net profit fell 15 percent to Rs 102 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to a net profit of Rs 120 crore in the previous fiscal.

The company’s consolidated revenues from operations fell 8 percent to Rs 5,471 crore for the entire fiscal 2019-20 as compared to Rs 5,975 crore in the previous fiscal.

The consolidated total expenses of the company declined to Rs 1,300 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 1,640 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The consolidated total expenses of the company declined to Rs 5,334 crore in the 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 5,806 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The plans to install second 3LPE coating line in its current steel pipe plant at Anjar (Gujarat) which will further increase the share of high value added pipes of the company.
