Top Indian cities to see housing sales to go up by this much in festive season

New Delhi: The top seven cities are expected to see 35 percent jump in housing sales in current festive quarter (October –December as compared to July to September period.

Hyderabad is expected to see a jump of 20-24 percent in housing sales in the fourth quarter f the current calendar year as against the preceding quarter in which 1,650 units were sold, according to a report by ANAROCK.

Mumbai is likely to witness an increase of 33-36 percent. In the third quarter, about 9,200 homes were sold in the Maximum City.

Bengaluru is expected to see 30-35 percent jump in housing sales. In the third quarter, about 5,400 homes were sold.

Delhi NCR is expected to have 27-31 percent increase in sales. The region had seen sales of 5,200 units in Q3.

Pune is expected to see housing sales go up by 34 percent. About 4,850 homes were sold in Q3. Chennai is likely see 20-25 percent jump in sales in Q4. Around 1,600 houses were sold in Q3. Kolkata is expected to have 30 percent jump in housing sales. About 1,620 homes were sold in Q3 in the city.
